PASSIVE VOICE

1.       Simple Present Tense :
Active   : He drinks a cup of coffee
Passive : A cup of coffee is drunk by him

Active   : She writes a letter to her mom
Passive : A letter is wrote by her mom to her mom

2.       Present Continous Tense :
Active   : I am reading a novel ‘Laskar Pelangi’
Passive : A novel ‘Laskar Pelangi’ is being read by me

Active   : We are buying the magazine
Passive : The magazine is being bought by us

3.       Present Perfect Tense :
Active   : Santi has worn the new dress
Passive : The new dress has been worn by Santi

Active   : Surya has played the ball for 30 minutes
Passive : The ball has been played by Surya for 30 minutes

4.       Present Perfect Continous Tense :
Active   : I have been studying English
Passive : English has been being studied by me

Active   : She has been sweeping the floor
Passive :The floor has been being sweapt by her

5.       Simple Past Tense :
Active   : Budi drank a guava juice
Passive : A guava juice was drunk by him/Budi

Active   : I played the piano when the baby ate porridge this morning
Passive : The piano was played by me when the baby ate porridge this morning

6.       Past Continous Tense :
Active   : The farmers were cutting the trees as the baby cried
Passive : The trees were being cut by the farmers as the baby cried

Active   : Dewi was feeding the cat when I came home
Passive : The cat was being fed by Dewi when I came home

7.       Past Perfect tense
Active   : Joe had not given the letter
Passive : The letter had not been given by Joe

Active   : I had done my homework since a hour ago
Passive : My homework had been done by me since a hour ago

8.       Past Perfect Continous Tense :
I had been studying English
Passive : Englissh had been being studied by me

Active   : We had been playing foot ball for  two hours
Passive : Foot ball had been being played by us for two hours

9.       Simple Future Tense :
Active   : I will visit my grandmother
Passive : My grandmother will be visited by me

Active   : He will play the basket ball
Passive : the basket ball will be played by him

10.   Future Continous Tense :
Active   : I will be playing tennis
Passive : Tennis will be being played by me

Active   : My little sister will be drawing a star
Passive : A star will be being drawn by my little sister

11.   Future Perfect Tense :
Active   : I will have bought a new car
Passive : A new car will have been bought by me

Active   : We will have finished read the book
Passive : The book will have been finished by us

12.   Future Perfect Continous :
Active   : Mr.Brown will have been teaching English
Passive : English will have been being teached by Mr.Brown

Active   : I will have been reading a magazine
Passive : A magazine will have been being read by me
